Ronald Rodney, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor, New Roads, Livonia, and Livonia School-Based Clinic

Ronald Rodney obtained his master’s degree in mental health counseling from Southern University of Baton Rouge.  He has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 14 years.  Ronald works with a variety of clientele that range in age from 2 to 75.  Ronald specializes in helping people work through anxiety, anger, grief, frustration, and trauma, as well as other mental related disorders.   

In his spare time, Ronald enjoys spending time with his wife of 17 years and raising their son and three daughters. Mental and physical care is very important to his well-being.  As part of his own self-care, he enjoys harvesting food out of his garden & cooking it, in addition to yoga, music & eating healthy. 

Ronald has been a kidney transplant recipient for 21 years and has been on dialysis for 12 years—and is inspired to help others in this situation. Ronald can be found at our New Roads and Livonia locations and provides school-based counseling services at Livonia High School and Rougon Elementary.
