Kayce is a licensed counselor who finds joy in supporting young minds as they grow and develop into their full potential. She is passionate about helping children and teens navigate life’s challenges while fostering their emotional and mental well-being. She brings her unwavering compassion and innovative qualities with her in her line of care and treatment for her clients.
Kayce has 10 years of combined experience in school and clinical settings. Her treatment approaches include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. She received her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern University & A&M and her Business Management degree from UL Lafayette.
Plaquemine is her hometown and she currently resides in West Baton Rouge with her husband, three daughters, and their pet dog. During her time off the clock, Kayce enjoys makeup “therapy” and offering psychotherapy services through her part-time private practice (Inner Works Counseling). She believes that cultivating inner peace helps create a space to transform from the inside out.
