Federica Williams, MD

Pediatric Specialist, Livonia and Livonia School Based Clinics

Dr. Federica C. Williams is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with honors in English and History. From there, Dr. Williams enrolled at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA and earned a Master’s Degree in Biology. She saw a great opportunity to expand her knowledge and skill set after graduating from Louisiana Tech and began teaching biology at Grambling State University for nearly three years. While on faculty, she was the youngest in the Department of Biology.

Dr. Williams went on to pursue her ultimate dream of becoming a medical doctor and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with a clinical GPA of 3.9 and glowing recommendations from numerous preceptors and clinicians. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2021. She is affectionately referred to as “Dr. FeFe” by her patients.

Dr. Williams practiced pediatrics in a private clinic in Maryland until the spring of 2023 when she decided she wanted to return to her home state and roots to give back. She loves working in a clinical environment with a family-feel. She is committed to serving the community and doing everything she can to ensure that the next generation has every opportunity to achieve the goals they desire. She holds a 3 rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon-do, enjoys cooking/trying new recipes, and learning about different cultures. She is excited about joining the Arbor Health family!
