Jacob Laprarie, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Raised in Erwinville and a proud Pointe Coupee Parish resident for the last three years, Jacob Laprarie joins our Arbor family with excitement about the opportunity to have a positive impact on the health of the community that he lives in.

As a family nurse practitioner, Jacob hopes to increase the adoption of preventative health, improve lifestyle choices, and reduce the burden of chronic illnesses among patients across their lifespan. He believes in enhancing the overall quality of life and well-being of his patients by taking their physical, mental, social, spiritual, and emotional needs into account.

Jacob graduated from Catholic of Pointe Coupee in New Roads and then received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2016. He worked at Baton Rouge General Medical Center and Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge before obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In his spare time, he loves to deer hunt, watch the LSU Tigers, play guitar, and spend time with his family, his wife Torie,  and his golden retriever.
