Alaina Landry, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Brusly School Based

Born and raised in Brusly, Louisiana, Alaina Landry attended Brusly schools from Head Start to high school, graduating from Brusly High School in 2017. She then received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences with a concentration in human medicine from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU) in 2022. With a strong passion for medicine, she then pursued a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Mississippi State University in Meridian, Mississippi. She served as historian of her physician assistant program's Student Government Association throughout her schooling. She completed clinical training in various specialties including family medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, women's health, internal medicine, behavioral medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, and orthopedic trauma surgery.

Alaina is a board-certified physician assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants (LAPA), and Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA).

As a family medicine physician assistant, she provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education. She is passionate about building strong, long-term relationships with her patients and their families, ensuring care that is both compassionate and evidence-based. She is determined to promote wellness in her surrounding communities and help patients make informed decisions about their physical and mental health. Alaina is exceptionally excited to give back to the West Baton Rouge Parish school system and to serve as a healthcare provider for the community that contributed greatly to her growth as a student. Alaina sees patients primarily at our Brusly school-based location and also at Arbor’s surrounding clinics. 

Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and yellow labrador, Ellie. As a competitive gymnast for many years, she has a passion for coaching gymnastics and loves attending LSU gymnastics meets.
