Tonette Harris-Haynes, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, New Roads
Stigma in mental health prevents many people from reaching out for help because they feel ashamed, judged by others, or think they will be treated differently. My goal for each patient is to feel empowered to seek treatment for their mental illness in a stigma-free environment.
I am a dual-licensed, board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. I am passionate about helping people with their mental health journey. I have worked with ages 6-100+.
I can assess, diagnose, and treat patients for a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia and more. I use an evidenced-based guideline approach to treatment blended with clinical experience. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values each patient’s involvement.
The office setting for behavioral health at Arbor Family Health is handicapped accessible with a separate entrance. Office hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
