Danielle Gros completed her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Nicholls State University in 2013. She worked in the mental health field until the birth of her daughter in 2017, where she took some time off to be a stay-at-home mom. After her daughter started school, Danielle renewed her licensed professional counselor credentials and went back to work in 2020.
Danielle says Arbor Family Health has been a wonderful opportunity for her and her family as it's close to home and she gets to serve the community where she has lived and worked for most of her life. Danielle believes mental health is often an overlooked issue and feels that mental self-care is just as important to monitor as yearly bloodwork and checkups in order to maintain overall health and well-being.
