Marina “Mima” Doucet, PA-C

Physician’s Assistant, North Iberville School-Based Clinic

My name is Marina (but often go by my childhood nickname Mima) and I'm from Lafayette, LA. I graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2016. Upon graduation, I attended LSU - Eunice for 2 years and Southeastern Louisiana University for 1 year, where I was a member of the softball teams and served as Miss LSUE and Female Athlete of the Year in 2018.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus in Pre-Medical Sciences in 2020 from UL- Monroe. Prior to acceptance in PA school, I worked at a rural health clinic in Rayville, LA, where I developed my passion and love for rural health and Peds. I graduated with my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in May of 2024 from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady in Baton Rouge.

I am so excited to be working in rural health again and can't wait to get connected with my patients. In my free time, I enjoy watching and participating in sports, exercising, cooking, spending time with my friends and family, and loving on my rescue pup, Harper.
