Lawrence Carter, MD

Dr. Carter, a Zachary native, obtain his bachelor degree in biology from Morehouse College in 1994, Medical Doctorate from LSU Medical Center Shreveport in 1998, then completed his residency in family medicine with LSU Shreveport/Monroe in 2004.
Dr. Carter has provided care in North, Central, and South Louisiana through emergency, urgent care, and family medicine. He has been with Arbor Family Health for four years and is a part-time provider at our New Roads location.
During his free time Dr. Carter enjoys traveling the world with his wife, spending time with his family, playing guitar, and watching sports.
